This stunning, vintage bit from Vogt is in brilliant condition. Ready for use or would be a great addition to a collection. From Norm Vogt, an earlier bit, with the Vogt, but before Norm started marking with the star. 4 7/8" mouth, with 1.75" tall copper hood over copper roller (Salinas), with a stunning fully engraved silver shank. Shank measures 9", with a more set back, lifter style shank. The only wear to note on this bit is some marking on the double chain bit stabilizer. To top this bit off, it has a large side and lower concho, making this one stand out in the show ring or on display.
The Vogt family silver works company is known for decades of stunning, hand engraved silver pieces. Norm Vogt, teamed with expert silversmiths from Mexico, became a household name in many arenas for their stunning silver goods to include bits. Now, very few collections don't include a Vogt.
