Always on the lookout for interesting collectible pins. I was able to purchased a collection of vintage European communist pins, Russia, Romania, East Germany, and more.
They cover sports, transportation, rockets, Cold War politics, fairs, travel and more. The pins are from the 1950s, 1960s, 1970s, and a few are older.

The pin features raised and recessed details.
This metal pin features the Communist red star symbol behind the representation of the Romanian flag and in the center there is a runner
.
Near the bottom it states: GMA (Gata Mereu AaproapeI) which refers to the government program for the health of the public, building a healthy community. The concept was based on the Soviet GTO (Ready for Labor and Defense) program.
The gold tone pin is highlighted by colorful enamel shades of blue, yellow, red, and white.
It could be used as a lapel pin, hat pin, vest badge or displayed.
This pin is approximately 3/4 of an inch across.
