Rare Wooden Tito 13" Relay of Youth Josip Broz Yugoslavia Stafeta Mladosti
We offer for sale an extremely rare Yugoslav relay baton, made as a birthday present for the Yugoslav leader Marshal Josip Broz Tito. The baton is made out of two pieces, it is wooden and hollow. It is handmade and engraved, and it features socialist imagery; a factory, a train, and an agricultural worker on a tractor.  The baton represents a fine example of the early Yugoslavian socialist artwork. These batons were gifted to Marshal Tito, on Youth Day, at the official ceremony at the Yugoslav National Army Stadium in Belgrade.
