This stunning, vintage bit from Vogt is in brilliant condition. Ready for use or would be a great addition to a collection. From Norm Vogt, an earlier bit, marked VOGT with a star. Incredible silver work on this bit. Shanks are in a swept back, western Pelham style with a ring in the middle of the shank, with bit stabilizer that is also engraved. Thicker diameter mouth, 5", in the very classic Frog Port Mouth, raised in a Segunda style port with copper roller, that measures 1 7/8" to the bottom of the mouth. Sweet iron mouth with copper inlaid ribbons, showing rust from use. Bit is in excellent condition, silver has shined up well, does have added curb hooks that could be removed. 7.75" shanks. This bit is ready to ride or look great as part of a collection.
