HORSE BIT - Reinsman #545 Spoon Mouth long shanks that swivel - Rare find!

Description

This is a nicely made bit and is maker stamped from Reinsman.  The model is 545 and from what I can see, this model not sold new any more.  It's similar to their popular fixed long shank cutter bit - BUT this model has the shanks that move independently.  It is done in a sweet iron that is supposed to rust/oxidize over time and this one already earning the desired patina and finish that creates a 'sweet' taste horses like - and promoted saliva.  Might be fantastic find for someone looking! I did not see any like this offered for sale.
