GRISWOLD 1894 “Wheel of Fortune “ Trade Stimulator Coin op

Description

Griswold Wheel of Fortune trade stimulator manufactured by the Griswold Mfg. Co. of Rock Island, Ill. between 1893 - 1904. Player inserts a Nickel and lifts up on lever to spin the wheel. The wheel is numbered from 1-30, you get a single cigar for a spin, but if you land on; 5, 10, 15, 20, 25, or 30 you received 2 5-cent cigars. The machine is in good working order. The cabinet shows wear , but is in overall good shape for being over 120 years old. Has original lock with a replacement key. The paper marquee insert is newer, but correct for the machine. There are some holes on either side of cabinet bottom where it was probably affixed to a countertop at one time. This is a really great showpiece from very long ago.
The dimensions are 14 1/2 inches wide x 16 1/2 inches tall x 5 1/2 inches deep.
