Description
This is an Exhibit Supply Co. game called Horse Shoes. It is from approx. 1935. It accepts different denominations of coins. The user would pick a number, then place the quarter in the coin slot, and cycle the game. There are three dice. One with a horses number, another that would show if the horse "Win, Places, or Shows" and one more with the payout odds. If the users number matched the dice with the horses number, then the user was a winner, and the next two dice showed if the horse won, placed or showed, and the odds for that position. The window would show the games owner how much the user had bet. It also has a gum vendor. Though this was used for gambling, the card states "For Amusement Only" and the gum vendor was there for the owner to explain it was not a gambling game. This game is original except for the card, and the round metal plug.
