Chuck is no stranger to the show circuit. He has owned and shown some of Quarter Horses most outstanding World Champions; Tuff as Gold, Miliron Meteor, Miliron King, and Cupids Flight, to name a few. In his quest for World Champion titles Chuck realized that the bits offered were not producing the results he needed to effectively train his horses. He believed that a horse needed a large signal but not a painful one. Thirty years ago in El Paso, TX Chuck out of necessity developed his own bits, that are much heavier and thicker in the mouth, yet not severe when used properly. His success in the show ring did not go unnoticed. Soon other trainers and competitors realized his secret and began asking for his bits, which were completely different from anything available. Chuck's background as a trainer, knowledge of a horse's mouth and quality metal working skills, have horse trainers from around the country asking for Chuck's bits. All of Chuck's bits are designed with heavier & thicker metal to produce a strong signal without the pain when used properly. There is more tongue relief and heavier bar & curb chain pressure. All bits are a 5.25" mouth, have hand polished stainless steel shanks and sweet iron mouth.
