Aviator Pilot Wings MEYER Metal U.S Army Air Force GOLD 3" With Stars Scarce
Gold colored pin. One of these which recently sold dated it to around WW1 or possibly shortly thereafter as an award, and that it is possibly a gold alloy. I am not sure of either. I have had this for a while but was not able to find much information about it other than a picture here and there. It appears to be quite rare and not listed in catalogues ,the closest matches do not have stars on them!
