sacrifices during the Sacred
War of 1821.
It is a very attractive lithographic edition by the
famous and celebrity
lithographic
company "Aspioti of Kerkyra
(Corfu), and there is a
lithographic
picture depicting the
Navarino
naval
battle,
with a conflict of Greek and Turkish fleets,
during the
Greek
War of Independence 1821-1829,
supplied by the Greek
Royal Crest & Coat Arms
with
the
pair of Hercules. Also there is
a
gorgeous
vignette, surround the outer
edges and a
watermark,
depicting the Greek God of Sea ,
Posseidon,
riding two Sea horses.
Greek heirloom, with rarity & Historical meaning document.
Measures 273 X 213mm sheet and 265 X 213mm
including the unpaid coupons.
