Manufactured by Daval City Mfg Co in 1936  It features a great detailed castina with art deco motifs and a smoking cigarette across the face.  A penny is insertted and the reels spin in slot machine configuration hopefully landing the reels on the cigarette brand of your choice.  These countertop machines were widely used to encourage shoppers to indulge in a game of chance.  They became popular in American saloons during the 1880s.  They are operated by inserting a coin and pulling a lever and standing to win prizes of cigars, cigarettes, candy and other goods if a winning combination comes up.
