This is a beautiful piece, whether you are looking for a show stopper using bit or to add to a collection. This one has an incredible look with the large side concho. Add this one to a collection or show it off in the show pen, this is one to see. Mouth measures slightly...very slightly smaller than 5" at 4 15/16", with a thicker sweet iron mouth with copper inlayed ribbons and frog port mouth with roller. Almost like a Segunda port. 2" port as measured to the bottom of the mouth bar, turned out purchase to help prevent pinching, 8.75" shanks. Shanks are slightly swept back and has engraved stirrup bar. In really great used condition, well cared for with no major wear. Mouth has rusted from use, which offers a nice taste for your horse. Great balance and feel, with a nice weight to it. Looks to be engraved German silver or Nickel silver. Not marked, but engraving looks to be hand done and has all the style of a high end Mexican engraver. Great bit that will look stunning no matter where you put it while still being very affordable.
