Sometimes called a western Pelham or Short Shank colt starter. 5" copper mouth that is thicker in diameter, Pelham style shanks with loose rein rings, with side rings that make this a great transition bit from snaffle to a curb. Very short, swept back shanks for great pre-signal. Nice weight to this bit. Used, shows some shallow chew marks on the copper.
