There isn't enough words in the world to describe just how beautiful this bit it. A vintage piece, in really great condition. Just a bit smaller than a 5" mouth at 4 15/16", upward turned mouth with an open port Mona Lisa style mouth with copper roller. 8" slightly swept shanks, fully covered in hand engraved silver. Not sterling, likely German or Alpaca, but stunning nonetheless and clearly hand engraved with a refined look. This bit is absolutely stunning and would make a great show bit, or to add to a collection. Not marked, but is clearly an outstanding quality bit. This is a high end, vintage, silver engraved bit. Well cared for, no major signs of wear, natural patina to the silver. Very well balanced. One that is show ring ready but would look fantastic as part of a collection.
